Default Let's Trade! My 3 Nishijin fixers for your 1 restored

I posted a listing before, wanting to trade 2 of my restorable machines for 1 restored machine.

I was hoping to trade where I wouldn't have to pay shipping, either way (for me to ship these to you or for you to ship to me) PLUS I was wanting a nice case (if possible) for the machine as well.

I received several very nice offers from people that were interested in thinking about it.

Well, today I took a nice 200 mile drive to pick up a case... and it had a Nishijin Model A machine inside... in very good (restorable) condition. No water damage on the cell that I can see... I took photos. I don't see any damage on the front or the back and it looks complete. I filled it up with balls, and the flipper sent the balls nicely, the flowers opened easily... but the payout didn't happen. I'm thinking it just needs a good cleaning though... maybe a slight adjustment... but this looks complete aside that it doesn't have glass or plexiglass.

I'm willing to trade this machine along with the other two (in my previous post)... all 3 for 1 nicely restored complete machine. I don't need a case now that I have one... but again, I would like whoever trades to absorb the cost of shipping.

You pay to ship my machines to you and your machine to me... I get 1 restored complete machine from you... and you get 3 restorable machines from me. Two model A machines and one rare model C machine.

Photos of the third machine are below... to see the photos of the other two machines look in the "Members Trade Area".

Please contact me with your offers. My zip code for shipping is 98233

Thank you all for your kind welcome to this site!

paying shipping both ways is the killer for this kind of deal.

you would be better off finding someone on pachitalk near your area for a trade and maybe meet 1/2 way to do it.

    Just my 2 cents worth

Yes, I think the shipping is an issue.

I'll make some inquiries into different shipping options.

At one time I had a very large faux fireplace (electric and made out of fiberglass) very big... it looked like a real stone fireplace, a lady wanted me to ship it to her... turned out the freight was her best option because of it's size... it was surprisingly less than I thought it would be, but still spendy.

I think FedEx might offer the best deal for Pachinko machines because of weight, size, and need for care in handling. I'll take some measurements and contact them with an estimate including insurance.

My experience with UPS is... if you're sending something heavy... it's going to get tossed around, it'll fall down... get stood on... it will deserve the full "HATE" treatment.

...and I think the package necessary to send it in would exceed the USPS limits.

...I'll do that research and bring it back to the table.

In the meantime, would anyone like to make a "FAIR" trade offer? If you have several different machines to choose from, make separate offers.

Who knows, working something out might just be fun!

These are what I have to trade for 1 complete nicely restored machine!

Do you want them all? Only one? Maybe just two of them?

Make me some offers and let's trade!

What would REALLY be FAIR for BOTH of us?

Thank you all for your offers, recommendations, and suggestions.

I've decided to take on restoring these machines as a hobby...and therapy. In fact, I've turned a bunch of other "dysfunctional" war veterans I know, on to the idea of restoring old pachinko machines. We're setting up a social group to work on them all in a group setting.

Have a few beers... or what-have-you... while we fix these up.

I'll be sure to take photos of our progress and post them here.

    Thank you again.
