Green Bean and the Machine

Just bought my first (I think) class B Nishijin Super Deluxe at the Salvation Army for $10.00. As a child I had a plastic machine that I played for hours, finding this was like a treasure. So the question is "Now What?" I have started reading and doing superficial cleaning. The machine I bought looks like it was stored with a large rat! The left side cabinet has been gnawed and scratched, but I have a plan for that. There were about 150 balls with the machine. So the question is; Do I need more balls to see if the machine works?
Any advice is appreciated

Too play this machine I usually try and have around 800 to a thousand balls. "The ones you have need to fill the entire back and the jackpot assembly. When you get it cleanned and ready to put the balls in you probably will have none left to play with. I like to have alot of balls and have put cabinents on mine to hold more. Each to his own. You can find some nice pictures of how to enlarge your machine to hold more balls in the cabinent section. Nice looking first machine. One down and ...

as pictured ya have quite a ball jam building.. hope ya have got that worked out.. to bad about all the damage to the frame

150 ball are enought to see if the machine will work for ya.. but like the good LT said your going to need more to play it for any kind of time..
