    Default ball drip

Do you have the problem of balls jumping out of the hopper while playing, even though you put the feed tube only 1/8 of an inch from the top?

    Heres a fix

    no more ball dripping!!

Get a piece of pvc pipe, the same size as you feed tube, and a piece of denim. I used a leg off of an old pair of pants. Wrap the denim around the tube and sew it together.

Leave a little bit of edge of denim after sewing so you can fold it over and sew a real nasty seam.

    pipe2.jpg

Once that is done, we need to vulcanize the denim. Use 100% silicon not latex and rub it all over the denim. I just happened to have a partial tube of white. Do not use Latex as it will harden while silicon II will not.

Once done it should look like this. Add extra silicon to the seam. This is going to be the rubber band that will pull the tube back in place when you close the cabinet.

After an hour pull the vulcanized denim off of the tube, any longer and you might have trouble.

Make sure you feed tube is about 1/2 to 1/4 of an inch above the hopper, cut it if you have to. You will need the room for the denim to bend. Now cut a length of vulcanized denim and silicon it to the feed tube. Make sure that the seam is in front. The seam will be the first part to enter the hopper, and as you close the door it will pull the rest of the tube in and strighten it out.

Make sure you make it long enough to be at least 1/4 of an inch into the hopper. I make it longer and then trim to fit..some hoppers are shallower than others.

Let the silicon cure over night and...Ta Da...no more ball drip.

Will the lint of the denim become a problem for the machine parts over time?

I have had one installed for over a year, no wear, and no sign of any problem. The silicon soaks into the denim pretty good.
