    Welcome to PachiTalk!!

If you can tell us a bit about your pachinko, and ideally some pics of the Front and Rear of the machine, the Members here will be able to help

A new thread might be best, then you can easily locate the information whenever you need to refer back to it

It is easy, but only when you know where to look

You need to click 'go advanced' and use the paperclip icon thingy, but

Here's a link that explains better than I can

    how to post a pic

Default Help Identifying my new $5 machine.

I bought this machine at a garage sale and I did not know anything about Pachinko but I'm learning. Can you help me identify this one?

I can see that it is a Nishijin model, although I don't know the title myself,

I'm reasonably sure one of our other members will recognise it and also be able to date it for you

As I would consider this to be a 'Modern' I will move your posts and give them a thread of their very own in the Modern Pachinko Forum...and here we are!!

Thanks for the ID. Now that's done. Second thing is it works except the payoff. Everything else seems to work. When you load the balls in the top they roll down and stop at what looks like two electronic "gates". These do not work. On the front the numbers in the lower right hand do not light up and the red and green button do not seem to work. I've cleaned it up fairly well but have no schematics and no directions of how it works...only what I've learned in hours of tinkering.

A little more on the title of your machine:

撃墜ゲキツイげきつい Gekitsui - shooting down (aircraft)撃墜noun
    王オウおう Ou(1) - king / ruler / sovereign / monarch / (2) king (for senior player) (shogi)noun

So a decent stab would be King Kill, but I would say King Shooter, or perhaps Shooter King would be closer.

Or just stick with 'Geh-key-sue-ee Ooh' ...
There is always another machine around the corner...

can ya post a pic of the back side close up of where the balls stop rolling..

as for the buttons on the front thouse are for parlor use.. we call them ball loan buttons.. what your needing is a Dongle to get them working... a Mordern machine is nothing with out a dongle.. but thats just my oppinion..

hears a great vid on how the dongle works..

YouTube - Daverobs Wonderful Dongle Part 2

if ya do a search of the word Dongle u will get tons of information

The part in my hand feeds balls back into the front tray to be played again. It is loaded from the top and the balls stop where you see the solenoids (gates). I assume they open up when the machine pays.

I guess I have a hundred or so balls. I haven't counted them. Sorry but my camera just broke (battery problem). The balls do reach the solenoids.

gona need some help from other hear to confirm this...

my guess is that 100 balls may not be enough.. pachinko machines have a sensor that tells the machine it has enought pachinko balls to opperate...

now on your machine im not sure where that sensor is located but 100 may not be enought.. when a machine does not have enought balls it shuts its self down till more balls are loaded..

hope this makes sense to ya.. if im wrong hear some one will jump in and set ya in the right direction..

my answer is get more pachinko balls.. even if this is totaly wrong once ya get it working your going to need way way more then 100 to play it..

    luck to ya

In my experience, you need a minimum of 500 balls to get a machine like this to work properly, but I load mine with 2,000 balls just to reduce the number of times I need to refill the jackpot hopper while I am playing it.

I think 100 balls is not enough to to fill the ball channels and trip the sensors needed to get the machine working properly.
