Hey guys, about the stepper motor issues, I checked EVERYTHING, and even consulted a so-called 'expert' out here in Pittsburgh, and he confirmed it was a bad motor (one of the windings is bad) and that I would indeed have to replace it. I wish it was as simple as a bad connection, but I am positive it is a bad motor. Which leads to me the conundrum of where the heck to get one...I really want to get this machine up and running.

The only person who has an old macy machine that might have a spare motor is FTKservices but he hasnt posted in some time .send him a private message and you might be able to get one from him . Otherwise i'd recheck your connections cause i doubt anyone has a motor for an old macy machine. pictures of the reel and motor might help jog someones memory though .

alstonj1 and mopar thank you for the heads up. I sent FTK a message on his auction and on here. I will take some pics in a little bit of the machine and the motor I am looking for just to whet the pallet . I've tried everything to get the darn thing to work, i just hope I can find a replacement - I've wanted to play this thing for weeks.

Here is a picture of the motor I need in case anyone has a similar one laying around. I am to understand that these motors were used on a whole host of machines. Any and all help is appreciated since I cannot find this part anywhere.
