Hello askjacob, what brings you to PachiTalk
Like a lot of new folk here, I just got my first Pachinko!
How about you tell us a bit about yourself, askjacob.
Well, I have wanted a pachinko for many years (15 or more!) but being in Australia they are very few and far between. Pachislos are getting popular, but pachinkos are still thin on the ground.
I am a pinball person at heart, and was off picking up a playfield today when I mentioned I love pachinko. Well what do you know they had one in the shed, and I got it too!
It has no glass so is a little grubby (but seems in good condition). It is a Nishijin Gaos (Sophia Hi Wing are the only other english words that identify it). I can't place the year but it looks mid 80's at a guess (it has solenoids, steppers and some LEDs and filament lamps). It also has a neat looking silver robot in the centre.
My first steps are to clean it up, secure a 24vAC supply and grin with the joy of owning something I have wanted for so long!
