    Default Rotamint (project)

There's a Rotamint in poor condition for sale on UK eBay

Could be a nice little project for anyone interested in these sort of machines, as the start price is just £10 or BIN of £25

one arm bandit on eBay (end time 13-Apr-10 12:30:25 BST)

It doesn't say what coinage it takes, but it could be anything, maybe pfennigs??

(Seller also has a bell fruit machine listed too)

All these Rotamint, AllWin and so on, look really intriguing and I don't know what they are exactly. but I'm a bit afraid to make a search and found what they are..

well, I must say: My wallet is afraid to found what they are.. I know what will happen.. I already have to try to cure my YJA addiction..

    Looks like someone asked!!

Q: Hi David what coinage does machine take and does it pay out thanx steve.
A: This takes new 1ps but as i said in write up will only start by conecting relay inside machine, so selling as repair or spares.David.
I'd buy it at that price (if I had money ) it would be a Rad project!!

So.. help us poor ignorant Americans out... How do you pronounce "pfennigs"? I would tend to spit a lot on the first part of that word.

    Yes, I believe it's just a 'silent' P

I always pronounce it with the 'F'
