    Default Does this transformator work?

    Hi

Soon I will get my Darth Vader machine from Kiai. As we are using 220V in Switzerland and to save on the shipping costs I decided to not order the transformator from Japan. Now I found this piece and wanted to ask if someone can tell me with the indications on the pictures if this works or not.

    Additionally in the description it says: Primary 230Volt / Secondary 24Volt / capacity,output 50VA

If this does not work I will continue finding something...
I did some research through reading other threads but as my knowledge in terms of electricity is very limited I would very appreciate if someone is able to give me the technical details:
220 V input (the only thing I know)

    Thanks

The output voltage is correct, but the VA is too low, needs to be at least 150VA

ummm. that's a very unusual looking transformer. are you sure it's a transformer? most of the time there is a coil and a chunk of steel around it.

unless maybe I have never seen that type?

Thanks, so I forget this one and try to get one with at least 150 VA.

BTW, yes it looks different then other Transformers I've seen on other sites. My Lupin Pachinko which I purchased from skytvspecial has one attached which looks exactly like to one on the picture.

I asked my father-in-law when I was on visit this Sunday... He is electronic engineer.
With the infos I received 24V 5 Amps. and 150VA we deceided to go for this transformer:
    https://www.distrelec.ch/ishopWebFro...ries/is/1.html

According to him a 120 VA should be fine 24V*5Amps but as the price difference is only 5$ I went for the "safer" one.
Maybe this info helps another Swiss guy who is looking for a trafo

For German guys I can recommend this one:

Fusswinkeltrafo 24 V/200 Va, ELMA TT versandkostenfrei | voelkner - direkt günstiger

200 VA is right enough for those modern machines
