    Smile Noob member w/2 pachinkos

    I have 2 vintage games, a Daiichi and a Sankyo, that I got from a yard sale. I tried to get them working without success, and put them away for about 15 years or so and recently pulled them out again. Thanks to postings here, at Dan Reed's site, and MudFud's excellent Youtube vids, I got them working ! The Sankyo was missing a track cover. The Daiichi just needed to be set up - isn't it frustrating when all the balls fall out when the lever isn't in the right position?

    This site has LOTS of great info, I'm impressed by everyone's work on ball handlers, cabinets, etc.

    Just an FYI, it is considered a right of passage that every Pachinko owner must endure to have at least 500 balls spill out of a machine and scatter across the room!

    I should also mention, the first time is surprising and educational. The second time is a reminder of the lesson first learned.

    how very true you are my friend. i had a cabinet hopper bust open once. 3000 balls falling in your face at the same time. on to hard wood floor. to this day i will still find a stray ball in the oddest of places.

    welcome to the site and a new addiction.
