    OK, wasn't sure. Interesting, does it give the ball that goes into that side part back to you to re-shoot? Most just have a bumper there to bounce them back into play.

    almost every model "C" i have ever seen has a fowl hole... when one shoots a ball into the fowl hole u get the ball back to reshoot..

    It appears that the ball comes out to reshoot from the foul hole.

    I have two C models... one has the side 'foul' that sends the ball back to the shooter tray and the other just has the bumper stop.
