As far as I understand it (although I may be totally wrong, I've not done this myself yet) you need to use a third party, an Agent in Japan to bid on your behalf

Quite a few members have used the services of Kiai, although I'm not sure how easy he is to contact these days, his website might help point out some of the costs that can be incurred EYE PRODUCT

Perhaps other members use another service or can give further advice

    Good Luck!!

I was hoping that the use of Kiai or a third party was for buying and shipping something the size and weight of a pachi and something small and inexpensive like this would be a simpler matter???

I'm sorry about that. I'm having trouble copy and pasting the link. If you type Honda insight into Japan auction its the fist item. A mini car and a woodstock figure.

Kia could do it, shipping should be pretty cheap.

The reason most sellers don't ship internationally, is
    1. They don't understand english that well
    2. Afraid of being ripped off (who isn't?)
    3. I don't know that Paypal is as prevalent over there as it is here.

still need a 3rd party unfortunatly as they wont ship outside the country so your looking about 3000 yen in fees plus the price of shipping and the item

hope that helps prolly making your car about 5000 yen meaning its gonna tap you about $50 on current exchange rate
My rice krispies told me to do it

please note pachitalk.com cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death that occur as a results of anything strange people like me suggest you do

Well, with Kia, if he got it for the BIN:

    1500Y item
    200 shipping in Japan
    1000 fee
    2,700 Y for item

then shipping here, should be pretty cheap, it's light and small

    2700 Japanese yen = 29.8296 U.S. dollars
Thats not bad. I could do that. Is Kia the only one? I heard his services are hard to come by.

It's a sideline for him, he's had to close his ESL schools I think, so unsure what else he does for a living.

There are several, I've just never used them (everything I want is the size of a truck ), so someone else will have to chime in.

    Try these guys : www.japanauctioncenter.com

They are not cheap (none of these services are), but they are efficient, speak English OK, and will get back to you in a timely manner.

If you need more than 3-4 JYA items, grab one of their JapanAuctionCenter Discount Tickets before you begin - good value.

Happy to help if you need something else about this... I've used these guys a LOT.
There is always another machine around the corner...

Kiai is back online...he's just been busy opening his new school. He hired some very nice teachers.

He just sent me some new cells. He also does other things besides shipping pachinkos. If you want it, he'll get it.

I have a maneki neko coming that he picked up at a store.
