Well it did seem odd that 3 different people retracted bids on this one,

and there is no way to post a Pachislo for just £10 in the UK that I know of

I would have thought it more likely to be between £30 to £40, but it's been a long time since I paid for delivery on a pachi

Parcelmonkey.co.uk quoted nearly £14. I've told the seller that and I'm going to see waht they come back with.

ebay states, this is a binding agreement between buyer and seller.

many people want to avoid higher listing fees and then try to back out.

They should check all postage prices before putting it up on ebay.
    That's tough for them.
They should be flogged for being stupid.
Push for your machine and only at the price you bid.
Tell them you are contacting ebay and will also give them the worst feed back thay have ever seen.
If they don't come up with the goods, make sure you follow through with your threats
These type of people drive me nuts.
Also the ones who bid and don't pay.
I think i am going off on one so i had better stop now.
btw good luck with your new machine.

I list a lot of items on ebay, most of the time i make a profit, but, I have sold and delivered items that i lost money on, thats part of doing business on ebay.

I've never backed out of a deal either as buyer or seller, If they can't stand the heat, they need to get out of the kitchen

I've had some sellers tell me the item either was broken or lost when i won something too cheap!!! I told one guy to ship a broken item anyways and he still backed out of the sale!!

The seller is now claiming it has already been sold.
Ebay doesn't have an option under the report listing for this, typical.

i could perhaps understand that if the seller had said item had been sold befor the end of the auction...but you said you had won the auction, surly he cant do that after the auction has finished!

Sorry to hear that one slipped through your fingers.

It seems like your only recourse at this point is to leave (very) negative feedback and make sure others do not fall for his/her tricks.

I've just left them some feedback. Serves em right as I would have been willing to discuss alternative courier methods with them.

That is well out of order!

I was watching the bidding on that one, Popeye is a Great machine!

If you look at the questions and answers on the listing (at bottom) the seller tries to reasure people by stating about his "Feedback"

    Should be banned!

this is the part i find strange about this auction

No time wasters please and phone will only be sent once payment has been completed.

why would he mention a phone if its a pachislo that hes selling?

From the feedback, it looks like this Seller has sold a few phones in the past and has probably just copied and pasted some wording or re-used his eBay phone ad template

This seemed to be a very strange Auction from start to finish, I was initially interested myself, but decided I could live without it as I knew others needed a shot at a decent pachislo

Yes the Seller should have followed through with this deal, and deserves their negative feedback

Even if the Pachislo was advertised for sale elsewhere, this should have been clearly stated in the Ad

I will be keeping an eye out for this one being re-listed again
