Photos please of the menus, buttons or whatever it is you want translated.

Close-up, clear so each character is legible - use the 'macro' setting on any camera that has it. Try to keep direct flash off the panels, as it flares and makes reading the text much more difficult.

Just use 'attach' in your next post for the photos.

    WELCOME!
There is always another machine around the corner...

kind of hard to photograph it is a lcd display over the reals that you can see through Real hard to see in a pic, was hoping someone was familiar with this machine and has already figured this out.

I am having the same problem with my Azteca machine, when there is no Error i can access the menu but when there is a error i cant access anything from the menu.
I did take 3 pictures of mine error on the lcd and if you don's mind i will try to post them here on your thread because i think we may have the same type of menu access buttons .. I have a 4 way black arrow then to the right of that a zero button and down from that a X button and just to the left and down from there i have two red arrow buttons one pointing to the left and one to the right. My error message is a i5 then the language i cant read.

The blue one is a little too fuzzy to read, but I think it may say something to the effect of call an attendant.

Wow i hope Eagle88 comes back, i just went downstairs and took a few more pictures of the menu keys and tried for a better shot of the error messages . I think he might have the same menu buttons and error messages i deal with. anyhow here is the other pictures.

Usually if one of those errors listed on the screen come up, the picture of the machine will also flash the part that's a problem. Not sure an I5 will show up this way.

The first thing I'd check is all the major connections and be sure none of the cables are being pinched and are fully connected. Unplug them and reconnect them.

Thanks i will do just that tomorrow.
I am still trying to figure out how to reset the machine via power supply etc. i have no manual or experience for either machine so i am wing en it.
Question does the wheels have a motor that runs them?
Seems like they do not spin as fast as when i first plugged it in a couple days ago when i bought them.

Does the power cord go directly to the machines power supply or to a transformer first?

The reels are run with stepper motors.

    A reset -

Turn the machine off, turn the key on the power supply, change the odds, hold down the reel start lever for a few seconds, turn the key back.

Thanks again and yes i have experimented the last couple nights and found that method is the only one that will work. I just learned i can not to a "soft reset" mainly because there is no key let alone something for the key to go into, someone has taken out the entire locking system lol
On the power supply there is also a White button that i have no clue what that does or the two small black switches under the key? I have done the reset and have moved one of the black switches to the left and didn't notice any different result.
Until i really figure out the problem with the error messages i set it to 1 or 2 so it dose not hit as often so i can stay upstairs and read the posts here for similar problems to figure out mine, otherwise the g/f is yelling out of coins or problem lol
For sure though i like the idea of unplugging all the mains and replugging them in, that is step one tomorrow.

And if the transformer is on the lower bottom Right side of the door then no it goes right into the power supple from the outlet

That transformer is probably for the florescent lighting.

    White button says 'reset'.

First switch is Hitting Stop, left is Yes, right is No

Can't read the second one, but they work like this:

The top one determines whether a reset is needed after a bonus, the other pays out the remaining 50 credits after a bonus.

The last line is しばらく (shibaraku) お待ち下さい (omachi kudasai) which is just 'please wait awhile' said very politely.

Looks like Eagle88 never came back?? anyway i might as well continue here with my problem if that is okay?
Well that error message meaning dose not help me figure out what is wrong. I did unplug everything and plug it back in but that did not help.
I am still getting the i5 Error message, sometimes it will run for 20 min or 10 min or 2 min then it goes into the i5 Error, i am thinking it might be the motherboard going or the psu weak but that is just a guess .

so if anybody gets this error message in the picture included could you advise me what the problem is? i know it has something to do with Communications but that dose not help me fix the problem .
    looking for a solution.

i had one machine that i had removed and swapped out the motherboard twice with no luck, i treid reseating all the connections a final time and its worked every since them

don't forget to do this with the machine unplugged and when you do turn it on try a full reset,

it could be a transformer or power supply problem too

If the reels are making a couple turns and then an error, I'd say there's a problem with the reels (yeah, I know, duh! ). There's a sensor in each one so that they calibrate themselves. Perhaps one of the cables has gone bad, or the sensor in one of the reels is dirty/bad/bad connection.
