Not far from where my wife and I got married in Estes Park. Beautiful place. 8-)

Yeah! Estes Park is fantastic. Home of the Stanley Hotel that the Shining was based on and where the Elk come into town to rut and beat up tourists. I love it up there!
They also have some cool Hot Tub cabins in the vicinity and, believe it or not, the YMCA has really nice cabins you can rent for a really reasonable rate. I highly recommend it!

I've got some pics of the elk in town. That was pretty slick. We stayed in one of those "hot tub cabins". Right on the fall river.

You have to watch those elk .. if you turn your back on a buck you can get your butt kicked pretty easy. It is kind of like turning your back on the Pacific!
It happens several times every year. We like to keep a tally of how many tourists get sent to the hospital by an extra frisky buck every year!
