New Power Flash & Ski Games

It was a fun day for Craig's list! Sold 2 Pachislo's and picked up these two "classics." I've never gone into the older games, so I may need some help from the team. MANY questions on the Power Flash, lots of wires and maybe missing parts? Hopefully these photos will help.

Nice score on the Power Flash. Just do a search on here for "power flash"and you'll find everything you could want to know. i have yet to see one that came with missing parts and most owners aren't even aware of the other layer of components. in any case, spare parts) solenoids and transformers are cheap and easy to find. the rest of the machine is a very common "B" model.

can u post a pic of the power / light box that should be in the upper left corner...

the wire u are holding in the second pic of the second post plugs into the power / light box.. that is the 24 dc volt lead to power the solonoids... the transformer u will be buying is 24 ac... the box converts it to DC and then send the DC to the solonoids..

make sure u can see one of thouse larger grey wires goes to the back of the fuse block and the other wire goes to the Circuit board... u can see in my pic (verry hard to see i know) where they go..

thouse grey wires are the ac 24 volt from your transformer... the Diaods (spelling?) convert the ac to dc...

then as stated above the 2 plug connector gets pluged into that open 2 plug reciever on the box...

lights are hooked up the same as any model "B"... using the spliter wire from your transformer...

Ok, no Radio Shack in my state had a transformer. I had to special order one and now I just clean and clean and clean...How do these get SOOOO dirty

Some how they manage to all get dirty. It is nice to see that another pachi talk person got a powerflash. Both are unique unto themselves. When I first started collecting again nobody was finding any. In the last six months their have been at least twenty for sale. Good Luck on your repairs and do not beat up my mechanic too bad. I use him alot and his wages are cheeeeeap.
