well guys and gals just spent the last 3 weeks tareing down and rebuilding another pin this was an old favorit of mine so hunted one down and refurbed it may keep this one for a while as it was a total re wrap of the cab in fresh decals strip down of the playfield and total rebuild of the flippers from the meck ot the coils to the bats themselves

so enjoy sorry about the amount of pics but hey we all love pics
first the befors look out for the crazing around the policemans head and then it all fixed with the trade secret rubber

Nice machine -- and nice rebuild!

Please tell more about the "trade secret rubber" you used to make the crazing by the policeman's head less visible. I have areas like that on my machine and I thought that the only way to get rid of it was by buying a new playfield/overlay.

Of course, I just finished tearing mine down... cleaned everything, waxed, and reassembled with new o-rings and some new plastics. So I'm not exactly looking to tear it down again anytime soon! But, if there's a new "trade secret" to learn... I might just have to plan another tear-down before too long!

well that one is what i call my christmas machine (the one 7 makes me sell at christmas to make room in the living room for the christmas tree) but because i have to sell it around november time i like to think im selling a top quality machine to some one that will enjoy it for years to come when i imported and sold pachinkos in the uk i built asmall reputation for the quality of the hand picked machines that i imported refurbed and cleaned im trying to do the same with the pinballs i resell im in to this one for a fair few hundred pounds but should recoupe it on resale (just break even) the total refurb was a strip of the cab back to wood and repaint then aplie new graphics £200 alone (luckily the legs were nearly new and in good condition when i brought this one) or they would have been changed then the playfield was pulled out and tore back to bare wood then every part serviced rebuilt and replaced if needed including 3 compleate new flippers (coils mechs and bats) finaly plastics washed in a solution to clean them dried and replaced and rebuilt then 3 new balls (non magnetic balls because of the 3 big electro magnets in the supercharger) new rubbers fitted and the first gae was played a total of about 3 weeks work (waiting for parts) about 60 hours labor in total

now i have another pinball thats gonna break my heart selling at christmas as did jurasic park last year but i also know i have saved another peace of history that was just destined for maybe one more owner and then the scrap heap (poor jurasic was just going to the scrap heap)

well its a little befor christmas but its time for this one to move on to part fund a project so befor i put it up on ebay thought i would offer it to our folks here a courier can move it to almost anywhere in the uk for £75 give me a shout if your intrested i will do the honrable thing and give pt the auctions usual fee if sold through pachi talk
