    Default Single shot conversion machine

There is a Nishijin single shot that has been converted to a multi going up for sale in my area.

I find it truly bizarre, but an interesting evolutionary step in pachinko game play.

Subjectively, is there any value in these? I probably won't bid on it unless it's a rarity and worthy of the love and protection that I can provide to it.

I think the value is subjective to each person. I believe these machines show a major evolutionary step from a single shot pachi to a modern "ball feeder" type of machine, but I personally wouldn't pay a lot for one. However, I have seen others in this forum spend a pretty penny to get one in their collection because the machine excites them. It really depends on what you like and what you want to collect.

Along these same lines, there are those in who collect modern Pachis, but wouldn't waste any money on the vintages, as they do not appeal. There are those on the other side of the fence that only collect vintages but wouldn't spend their funds on moderns.

If you are intrigued by the machine and it seems to call you, determine how much you are willing to spend and go for it. What you collect and find valuable is entirely up to you.

Although the photo is poor, the machine appears to be in reasonably good condition.

She's asking $90. I would probably go to $50 in a normal negotiation, but it's a silent auction so only time will tell. 8 days away.

I ended up with the exact same machine, graphics and all. The graphics are sort of blah, but it's a neat machine.
What do you want to know?

You may (or not) remember my posting where I picked it up on a family week long camping trip and we dragged it around, up and down the coast, on top of the car.

We should get them together, like the Three Amigos.
