    Default Super Sea Story Question

Is there any adjustment on the Super Sea Story (or any other machine for that matter) that will increase or decrease the odds of getting the machine into a fever? I see a few buttons and dials on the back and wonder if any of them would allow the parlor to control how easy or difficult the machine would be. I've spent hours over the past week trying to get it into a fever with no luck at all.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

post some pics of the knobs and buttons, we'll tell you what they're for.

There was a time back in the mid 90's when a machine could be set for one of 3 odds, but that only lasted a year or two. No way to do that now.

Sometimes they can be very very stingy, a hard reset sometimes takes care of that

The machine is circa 2008, so based on what you say, I'm guessing there isn't a way. I'll snap some pics shortly.

What mode are you in? I've found Hawaii mode to be the hardest to fever.

I've tried all three, but the one I like the most is the mode with Maddie looking at you.

    * Bump *

Well, it has been nearly six months and my Super Sea Story FINALLY hit not one, but two fever modes in a row!! WOW! What a blast! I can see why ball lifters are popular with the modern Pachi enthusiasts. I had balls spilling out of the machine all over the floor while my son tried to keep the jackpot hopper filled.

I honestly was ready to send that pachi to live with my nieces in California because my son and I thought it was defective. Now that we know there is hope, I think we will keep it for a while.

    Good times!

That is why you need one of Mopars patent cabinents. they hold about 10,000 balls in the top. But it is sure not cheap buying the balls.

    I
your machine took 6 months to Fever???

My friend, you are either not playing enough, or you DO have a defective machine!!!

An average machine in an average parlour, played 10-12 hours a day, will fever perhaps once a day minimum, to perhaps 8-20 times in Kakuhen modes. Remember that most machines give anywhere from 80-90% of their ball intake BACK to the player each cycle. So unless you are only playing 10 minutes a day, once a week, your machine should have jackpotted 100 times by now...

Or are you the meanest kugi-shi in the world?

My spiderman neo even though it had extensive play being my first pachinko.. never fevered..

but then again it was a special edition error code 1 so that could have been the reason..

well flow it wont.. remember the problem was that machine would not pay out.

    it was just busted..

payout motor was removed and replaced and a number of things changes and messed with.

yet.. it was a lost cause.. the error one would not go away..

now it sits in the basement waiting for my gameroom to be ressurected when i can get rid of a few things from the house..
