Default I met Richard Thalheimer at macExpo!

    hey guys.

Richard was the founder of Sharper Image, and I used to read his mailers from cover to cover.

he's got his own company, richardSolo, that sells tech stuff.

I could not believe that he was at this small booth selling his iPhone charger. I told him that he was like a rock star to me, and got my picture taken with him. bought another charger, too, they're so cool.

attached are a few other pix from Moscone in SF. I decided to make the treck to mecca, even though the "great one" was not in attendance.

I bought all kinds of things and learned about some new products and technologies for the mac... hey eddie, they had some great products to port from your mac to HDMI TV for about $60.

they had large ink tanks with hoses to fill your printer cartridges in a more affordable way. I looked at the solid ink technology from xerox, and it's pretty cool... you put these chunks of ink in and they melt, no packaging.

also, found clear sheets of stick-on that would be way better than the mylar I bought, to cover the cells (no bubbles and grainy layer). when I get an exact price quote, I will post. their product is really tough and puts a scratch proof layer on ipods, laptops, etc. would be clear and tough for a cell.

bought mom a keyboard cover with BIG LETTERS, to make it easier for her and dad to find the right keys.

enough fun for today. off to bed. working in the 'hood in oakland tonight.

Those CISS things are great, I've got one for my HP Business Inkjet 2300.

If you think Moscone is nice, try delivering there All underground docks, really tight. When they call up a group of trucks from the marshaling yard, I always raced over (ya gotta know the fast way over!), so that there wouldn't be any other trucks in the docks when I had to back in

I cannot imagine driving a semi around san franciso and it's neighborhoods, and trying to back in underground at moscone? they probably made the slips extra narrow to squeeze more of them in... like the parking spaces in SF!

on the CISS things, do you think I could use the same hose setup and large cartridges to source a couple different color printers?

there are many different cartridge styles. If they use the exact same ones, then yes. Just keep the original cartridges so they can be inserted to keep everything 'moist'

    What printers do you have?
