Rotomat Astor ? What is a rotomat astor ? Is it a fruit type machine ? Cost ? Difficulty to repair ? I never heard of this and a neighbor has one for sale.

Well this ad is over a year old. It is a german slot machine that is usually 220 volts and has to be converted. Works on German marks if I remember right.

I found one locally. I will go see it tomorrow, but I don't know what to look for. The rotomat astor is the model. The seller does not know too much about it. 220 volt that has to be converted to work here. What is this worth ?

Well, i bought one in great shape this summer for $50, BUT mine was missing the power supply

What do I look for to see if it is complete ? Are they electromechanical with relays, solinoids etc like an em pinball ? Have you ever worked on one or tried to troubleshoot it ? Any schematics available ?

Well, mine is from 1977 and it is a big pile of relays and solenoids I have not been able to locate a power supply so my project is on hold. It's a big, pretty boat anchor right now

I bought the Rotomat Astor this afternoon. It came with a power supply so it lights up. It looks to be in excellent condition. Very heavy !!! I will check it out tomorrow. I also bought a 1936 Groetchen 5 cent Columbia slot that needs work. It appears to be complete, but doesn't work. $ 400 for both. I will post before pictures this week. Does anyone know the best way to begin trouble shooting these two machines ? Thanks,
