the PF should go to someone that doesn't have one yet.

I'm only interested if it's still left, since it could keep my T bird company, but that's not necessary at all.

who's the non-owner that contacted you first?

in the interest of helping out the new owner... (who ever that may be)

i will offer a spring to help geting the machine up and running... That is if Rusty would be so kind as to make sure this is all that is needed

to the new owner contact me and ill ship this spring for the cost of shipping ... 2 or 3 bucks i would guess...

now i know this is not the 100% correct spring but it will work perfectly and no one will ever know

Welcome to Jbreck to the addiction! Well.. .actually... I've kinda like the drug dealer that gives out free samples.

I help him acquire his first machine and got it up and running and partially cleaned up for him.

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...iwa-buddy.html

I had sent him a link to the PF ad a fews day back but he had not seen the email until today. When he came into my office to discuss it... I explained what was happening with it. So... in order to keep good on the 'deal' I've made here I suggested that he become a member of PachiTalk and submit his name on this thread. At leaset for him there will be no shipping cost!

In order to prevent any appearance of bias, I may ask someone else to 'do the drawing' for me. I am still giving till this afternoon for any others who may want to join in the lottery.

How about doing it based on a state's lottery like the Texas "Pick 3 Night" daily drawing. If there are three people in the running, assign each of them three numbers between 1 and 9 like this:

    CC86: 1, 4, 7
    SphereJunkie: 2, 5, 8
    breck: 3, 6, 9

Then use the LAST number of the Texas Pick 3 Night drawing for whatever day you specify to be the winning number. Last night, the number was 675 that meant SphereJunkie would have won. If the number winds up being a zero, just wait until the next day.

I wouldn't worry about anyone here being concerned about bias. If they are well then I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. You're already going out of your way to help out. Just put whatever names you choose in a hat (your choice on who is eligible since this would not even be happening without your effort) and draw. Easy day.

Final request for anyone who currently does not have a PowerFlash that wants into the drawing for buying this one! Here's the schedule:

All times in CST (Houston time)
6pm - deadline for entering lottery
6:30pm - Posting of Names to Numbers (as Emmadog suggested)
10pm - Texas Daily Pick Three drawing
10:30 - Posting and notification of winner

Here's how it will work. I will put all names down for a list. I shuffle a deck with the Ace through 10 (representing 0) of one suit. I will take the first card and assign it to the first name, 2nd card to the 2nd name, etc. till all the numbers are assigned. Any 'uneven' cards remaining will be 'dead number(s)'. I will then post this list. Once the Pick Three is drawn, the last number drawn will be the winning number. If that number is a 'dead number' then I'll back up to the middle number and if that one is 'dead' then I'll back up to the first number. Which ever name is associated with the winning number will get to buy the machine. Woo Hoo!

Should all three numbers drawn be dead numbers, i really won't care because that will be the number I would have purchased!

    Good luck to all!

Ahh the "Mousetrap Game" effect on this forum strikes again!
P.S. that was CC86 that suggested the names and numbers thing. I suggested the old school names in a hat thing.

Excellent! I'll be glued to the Texas lottery site tonight, constantly hitting refresh right after the drawing waiting for that winning number to be posted.
