    Default Getting to know my Pachislo (Kiwame)

    Hey folks, I have just a few questions about my pachislo. It is a Kiwame by luster (01) as you saw in another thread. I have separately posted this because I believe that this general layout is the same for many pachislos.

    Here we go: My first question, there is a board at the top right in the cabinet (behind the door catch, see picture attached) which I believe to be the stop board. I know that the 30 pin connector (similar to an IDE connector) is the insertion point for your auto-stop mods. What are the three front facing connectors here for? (What do they do?) Are they the interface for the battle counters?

    The top board (not pictured) I assume is the motherboard which houses the eprom/rng's for the main game logic.

    The side board with the volume controller I assume is the sound board (I know, its obvious, lol)

    My last question, though, is the power box with the odds-changing button and key on it. What are the two switches pictured below under the odds changing button? I could not seem to figure out their functionality. Is it a credit/payout mode toggle?

    I am loving the machine, I am trying hard to find pins and pachinkos in my area (Atlanta/North GA), but I do want to get pretty familiar with this excellent piece of machinery.

    If I remember correctly, one switch controls if the machine spits out the last 50 medals after a big bonus, and one controls whether it needs a reset after the big bonus.
    This game induces a kind of hypnosis, a strange feeling of happiness. Winning is hardly important. But, time passes. You lose touch with yourself for a while, and merge with a machine and perhaps you forget, what you always wanted to forget.....

    what the switches are for
    Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

    For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position.

    無 = off

    有 = on

    yeah that's it for some reason on my Hihouden they don't work no matter what setting it always needs a reset and pays out tokens. arg...
