    Default Speed Racer

Hey, I just got my "Mach GO-GO-GO" machine today. Awesome machine from Majestic!

A question though... This is my first machine, and I have read all the different tutorials out there, but does anybody know where the volume controls on the Majestic machines are? I can't seem to find any switches for that anywhere. I have looked on the main box and on the door.

Holy cr** is mine loud! I think the volume is maxed because the speakers are humming just from having the machine plugged in.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys....

p.s. I'm thrilled to have joined your ranks as of today!

    Welcome! 8-)

I think we have a couple of people that own that one, that might be able to help you out. However don't be shocked if it's actually set on it's lowest setting and be prepared to add some volume controls to it.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

I have found that to quiet a machine the easist way for me anyway. Is the loosen the screws on the speakers, than take out two, add 4 to 6 cotton balls. put the screws back in and tightin them all down snug (please don't over tightin, or you can strip the threads).
This will keep your warenty intact, the other way is to install L-Pads.

To find the Info on L-Pads use the Search above in the black bar. :-)

An easy way to find the volume control on most machines is to start at the speaker and follow the wires away from it. They usually end at a two small 3 position switches on the inside of the front door or the side/back wall of the machine. Sometimes there is a small dial instead of the switches, but most have switches.

IGT tends to hide their on one of the computer boards in back with a slot to change them.

    Default Thanks!

Hi guys. Thanks for your responses to the newbie.

    Much appreciated!

I found the volume control. Suprisingly it's in the top of the machine fed off of the LCD board.

I think I'll need to get an lpad. I disconnected 1 speaker, plus used the cotton ball trick and it's still far to loud for any late night play.

    Again... thanks!

You can blow your amp by unpluding the speaker, not wise thing to not having a load.
