Default Whats the best way to clean the inside

Hello, I was hoping to get some advice on getting the inside of my gamera cleaned. I have a taco slot by eleco that is emaculate inside and out, the gamera however must have been around alot of smoke and dust. The green boards are dirty, the white wires are brown and black, theres just dust and buildup everywhere. I took out the hopper and cleanned it real good and while it was out, I wiped out as much crap as I could. I didn't want to wipe cleaner on the boards and other electronics so I bought a spray duster and went to town. The spray duster didn't really work that great, and theres still crap on the boards and all throughout the inside. Any advise on getting this thing clean? Thanks

    Q-tips~ toothpicks~old tee shirt~Windex and patience.

It depends on how far you want to go. Each part can be disconnected, removed, detailed and then reinstalled.
Metal can be polished, silicon can be used sparingly on moving parts and Novus plastic polish can help as a repellent.

Wipe the pressboard inside the cabnet with a Murphy oil soap. Cuts the tar and smells real good.

Thanks for the reply's it seams like a pretty tedious task. Will it effect the machines operation later on if I leave the boards alone? Its just crazy how different the two machines are. on taco slot the boards are bright green and the wire tubes are clear. on gamera the boards are dark green because of smoke and the wire tubes are almost translucent brown. It runs just fine, im just wondering if i should take a day to take it apart to make sure it lasts longer. thanks

The pricing on Purple Power is incredible. I bought some at Walmart and if I remember correctly I think the price was at least half the cost of simple green. I have diluted it and used it on my steam cleaning carpet machine and its a lot cheaper than the machine products.

I use this stuff to clean and polish the plastic and chrome on my machines. It is fantastic stuff! It's called blue magic Headlight Lens Restorer.
It actually removes scratches from the plastic! I had one slot that looked as if a crazy kid had scratched it all over with keys and this stuff restored it to a clean and smooth surface!
As for the chrome parts, it takes the dull yellow color off. That color is caused by the copper underneath migrating to the chrome's surface. This stuff gets rid of it fast!.
I also use it to clean the chromed reflective surfaces behind the fluorescents to brighten the light refelction! Makes a night and day difference!
