heiwa single shot, off ebay

hey guys.

I picked this one up in san jose today. didn't sell again and had been reposted after the first buyer never paid a few months back.

you may remember this one that had the aluminum(?) across the bottom front? it's kinda moldy, but will probably clean up OK. I may do an visible single shot with this one, as that would be fun to see and the balls would be visible in the zig zag tracks from the front.

drove down there after I offered 100 for the 2 pachinkos (other one was just the front part of a ginza) and an HP oscilloscope. found out he misunderstood and only had the one pachinko. says he sold the other one for 55...

anyhow, I bought the heiwa and oscilloscope for 75. as long as the 'scope works, it's a good deal. I blew my last scope up a couple years ago, so I had been in the market for one.

You going to use your scope on your new Pinball machine?

hmm. I kinda wondered if there was any place to use the scope on the pin... there are oscillating voltages across the solenoids, but I couldn't really think what else I would measure on a pinball, really.

btw, the back of the heiwa is like an A, but all made out of metal. for some reason I had remembered it like a ginza, so maybe this would not be a good one to make see through. will be interesting to see if the parts look identical to an A. I see that the see saw jackpot is exposed in a window like an A, but I didn't have time (started raining) to scrutinize last night.

and to think, I am just shipping an older nishijin A single shot to ebb...wife may not be happy that the pachinko count seems to be rising again...
