Default moving a pinball... my first machine!

    hi guys

driving south 4 hours today to pick up my first pin.

    questions:

should I take the legs off for drive? will fit in van standing, but I thought the vibration might be hard on leg joints (though they should be made for that)

can a machine be laid on its side? any harm to parts?

will post pix after I get her. don't want to jinx the sale.

    thx for advice.

although not an expert by any means
of all the references i have seen (and images) people ship with the legs off

so i would say thats the safest way of doing it.. considering its a long drive as well.

as for on the side. i wouldnt risk it..

looking forward to the pics and update

open glass and remove balls (make sure you get um all)
fold back box down with a thick ish sheet between glass and back box to stop side rails back box been damaged strap box down to main cab then take of back legs tilt on to back and remove front legs then as long as skids are still in place from that tilted position you can put a sack truck under and move up on its end for transport move eaither flat on floor or standing on end as you moved it

eaither way strapped down tight once one of those things gathers momentome its gonna hurt specialy if you stop suddenly it will demolish the front seats and you from the back of a van (belive me i seen it
