I even visit Pachitalk while driving! Ever since I got my Sprint Modem Card for work a couple of years ago I stay connected with my laptop constantly.

I know "texting" while driving is illegal but "surfing the internet" while driving has got to be the worst. Stay away from me when I'm on the highway!!

I've even connected driving thru the middle of Kansas. The coverage is awesome!

    Hey Guys!

howdy from Chewy, your long lost pachi buddy.

I got a PM from someone asking about a Hokoku ball tray, and I actually had to come back to pachitalk to figure out which machine that was... wahhhhh!

anyway, I looked over some of the threads and really smiled. I miss you guys, my pachi family. Can't believe it was 2010 when I summarized the vintage threads. must be time for an update. my OCD traits have been busy with work.

I am still in the SF East bay, working several hospital ED's. struggling at one that is about to close while working as far away as Eureka for one week a month.

the exciting news for you tech people is that I have a Tesla S as of September of last year. it is very cool, lots of bells and whistles, super fast, but I have to adjust and be careful not to drive too far from a fast charger - or plan on sitting for a long time. from a person that has owned electric vehicles from over 10 years and has been stranded at least a half dozen times, this just goes with the territory.

in fact, I will be taking a group Tesla trip from california to custer, SD if any of you pachitalkers are along the supercharger route. it would be fun to meet some of you.

so, what's the latest "must have" vintage? I am afraid to look at craigslist and get the addiction going again. I have a garage full in Salinas, many of the machines would love a new attentive owner. I think my album had pix if anyone is interested.

hey ttc - when's our next chicken fried steak run? I go through Gilroy to charge and there's a black bear there.

lt teddy - thanks for the PM. I miss you a lot, too.

take care, you guys. i'll try to drop in occasionally to see what other new/old finds I'm missing out on.

    happy new year!

    with love,

    Chewy

Jeff. I'm sure we drive through Colorado too.

The trip is May 15-18 in Custer, with people from all over the country coming. Of course, we may have to take turns charging b/c 30 Teslas charging might dim the lights in Custer.

    Makers plan to meet!

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, why do all of the link seem to be broken?

You are reading a 9 year old thread. This site has changed servers, websites get shut down or change to new hosts, products get discontinued, could be a wide variety of reasons.

Maybe Sid has the old pages hosted here backed up and can get them re-linked.
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o

A few years ago a software update changed the addresses slightly for threads and made old PT links look dead, but the threads are still there!! I guess I'll try my best to fix mudfud's 10,000 broken links, thanks for pointing out the problem!!
