Default Orange "Sunshine" pachinko with 1000 Balls!

If I lived anywhere near Houston TX, I would be bidding on this machine -- especially since it comes with 1000 balls! I've seen pics of this pachinko before; it looks bright, colorful, and likely fun... the starting bid is $80... and 1000 balls is a nice bundled value!

Oh sure.. show me another one! Unfortunately I'm at work with eBay blocked so I'll have to wait until later to see what this one looks like.

Unless some one can grab one of the photos and post it here! (hint, hint)

Oops, forgot about eBay and other site blocking -- I'll be sure to attach pics in the future along with the link (thanks for adding it, BigBearSteve).

wrkey, you may be able to get an even better price, too. I see that the seller revised the starting bid price this evening from $80 to $70!

    Good luck!

With the latest price of pachinko balls these days, the ad should read "For Sale - 1000 Pachinko balls, $70.00, includes free pachinko machine."

hmmmmm... I'm gonna have to watch this one. I may send a note telling seller to lower the start price to $30 and I'll bid. <grin>

    Yarrr - local pickup only.

But I suppose that gives everyone the leg up if it's in their area.

    Hopefully a pachitalker gets it.

That is CR Bakumogi Kudamonoou (Fruit King) by Sammy and was sold in the US for years as "Fire Wing" at GW and other places or "California something or other" by TA..

There is also an older version from the 90's too, but its not as cool!!

Here is the official website which I've had saved since '05...

    ”šƒ‚ƒM

I love mine which came from Arby originally and was sold to Gary who built a self standing cabinet for it with a ball lifter and custom graphics and then I got it...oops...rambling!!

Just a note..The site my be 8 years old now but the Quicktime movies still work, but they can take a few minutes to load!!

Yes! I get the same feeling from this game's design, especially after checking out the website that MrGneiss provided! The artwork is way fun; it has that "boundless joy" quality -- sort of like the classic Dreamcast (and now Wii) game 'Samba De Amigo' (example: YouTube - Samba de Amigo Wii trailer (Sonic Green Hill stage)). Even if you were losing at the game, you just couldn't help but smile!

Hmm... perhaps Sammy hired both Robert Crumb and Timothy Leary to assist on this pachinko project (don't take anything the strange man in the pachinko parlor gives you)! I'm starting to imagine having 'fever dreams' of giddy, laughing lemons and watermelons dancing with the Kool-Aid Man under a bright orange Sun... as smiling chrome balls begin to fall and bounce all around them, everybody singing and skipping together in a noisy spring shower of happiness!!!

Err... or maybe its just a particularly severe psychotic break. Guess I should call the doctor this afternoon. :

Anyway, I can't drive all the way to Texas for my "fix" -- so I really hope that someone from PT Houston gets this machine!

Question Re: Orange "Sunshine" pachinko with 1000 Balls!

The eBay listing for this machine just ended -- with no bids. Since the seller had already lowered the starting bid from $80 to $70, this "failed" listing may lead him/her to relist it with an even lower starting bid. So, if you're interested and live near Webster, Texas (it's pick up only) -- you may want to watch for that relisting.

Or, if you're interested and live near Webster, Texas -- and perhaps have been thinking about sending an note to the seller to offer a lower price -- this may be the perfect time to write that note!

I know that I'm starting to sound a bit obsessed with this machine. But, it's largely because I've been thinking about buying more pachinko balls -- and if the price of this listing drops below $50, I may just purchase it myself -- and then give the machine to a PT member in Texas in return for shipping the 1000 balls to me!

    Yes, I'm plotting. But, it's a mutually-beneficial plot -- so don't be too critical!

it's not plotting, it's PLANNING. and a good plan, too, I might add. wish I could go get the machine... wife would kill me if I took a road trip to texas next... if I ever road trip, I better get one of those RVs with vehicle storage and ramp in the back, could just roll all those cool machines into the back

Ok, let me tell you what I know. I emailed the seller before it ended and stated that if they would lower the price to $50 I would make the starting bid. The email I got back stated that since the balls were worth $30 he would be giving the machine away and he didn't want to lower the price.

I haven't been able to check on it today since our corporate firewall blocks eBay. But now that I know that it didn't sell, I'm thinking I may resend my note and see what they say.

I'll let ya'll know how it turns out.

Did I mention my pachi budget it a bit tight right now?

You know the state mileage is around 42 cents a mile and per diem which includes motel and meals is about $135 dollars a day. plus you have to throw in snacks and food for Scooby. Something could be worked out says the better half (Bev).

You could also pickup a few on the way for not much extra. U pay - We pickup- and for a small fee deliver.
Over the hills and threw the woods, pachi hunting we go.
