Now that is very, very interesting indeed!

Rare, as I've not seen many vintages around with the more modern shooter knob

cool. that machine supports our theory that the late model C's had electric shooters. I had that machine last year that I could not figure out why it was marked for 2 voltages, 24 and 10. we decided that the sticker went with ones with an electric shooter, and I gave the dual tap transformer to johnny for his powerflash.

any one local to that machine?

I can't see ebay here at work to know if I'm close to it or not. But that is a cool machine. I noticed to that it only pays 11 at a time. I haven't seen that number before.

I wonder if the shooter is set to all for a max number of balls per minute? It seems to me that as I worked on various machines they always seem to state how many balls per minute can be shot. I'm guessing this was a regulation that either specified a lowest number or the max number because that would regulate the rate of pay off and/or the rate at which a player could lose. I'm just speculating here so chime in with opinions and/or knowledge of this!

    That's a suburb of Detroit.

I'd love to take a look at it, but even from the Chicago area where I am that's about a 5 1/2 hr drive.

It would be an interesting beauty to add to any collection though.
