    Smile Tech Help: Jaws

    Hi everybody!

I bought myself a new Jaws pachinko machine for Christmas.

When the machine first turns on, there is a thirty second alarm because the machine is not on a network (?). Is there any way to disable the alarm, it is really annoying.

Secondly, my kids have a tendancy to turn the knob just a little bit, and the balls back up in the shooter. On my classic Pachi the ball would just fall out the bottom, but with the modern Jaws it jams up the shooter and I have to open up the door to get to it. Is some adjustment or way to prevent this?

    Thanks
    Chris

Hey Chris, go up to the search tab and type in Jaws Alarm, you will find a ton of info on this!

    hey chief.

that alarm is standard issue on jaws. my theory is that in the parlors, this way you know that a machine has just been reset, and maybe will be more lucky?

I smother it will a pillow from the couch on startup. after that the low volume is fine. others have put a switch to cut out the speakers on start up.

I also have the problem with ball jams if you don't shoot hard enough. I think that is a problem with the design on this one. you have to shoot all the way to the right and back off, or the balls collect and jam in the shooter.

have fun. jaws is a great game! my favorite modern.

to solve your ball jamming problem,

maybe you could send your kids to military school until they are grown

Military school might be the easiest option. Or I could mount it up high where they can't reach the knob.

Same thing here on the Jaws machine, the only two drawbacks to an otherwise great machine!
