wow. what a fun trip. maybe I can convince the wife to go on an RV trip with me across the country, visiting pachitalkers... california to nevada, colorado, midwest, east, florida and return via texas...oh, missed LT and owen in the north east, too... maybe two trips?

you're really scoring there, LT. you could open a vintage pachinko shop when you get home.

Well I am only keeping two of what I have picked up. If nothing else this trip has reafirmmed that to me that you cannot trust what you read or see on Craigs list. Too many promises and not enough their when you get their.

You also forgot the seattle people. It has been a fun trip and I am thankful I am retired and can do this. Am going back east this summer and plan on stopping along the way. Going to Clarion, Iowa and then on to Niagra falls and then on too Boston and down the east coast.

Mopar is the one that needs to open shop not me. I only am keeping the best and either giving to mopar or trading for cheap labor at mopars.

Has there been talk of local Pachi conventions or perhaps even a national Pachi-con?

My reasons are varied for being in California but the major one was that Bigbear Steve sold me his Arepachi and i came to southern California to pick it up.

Has been a great trip and cannot wait to get it home. Steve Packed it so well I did not unpack it. So no pictures but you can see it on the arepachi site.

Well, I do know that it went to a good home.

To someone that will take good care of it, and give it the loving restoration that I didn't have time for.

Well have had a nice pachi hunt. Stopped and Visited with Mudfud and Take the castle and Mudfud took us to lunch. Earlier that morning driving down the freeway Mopar called and started hollering about a machine in San Fransico. I told him to buy it and he immediately hung up the phone. Then got to thinking what the heck was the price. He called back and said it was bought. Stopped the next day and picked it up. It goes to Mopar as he does not have one. It was quite a pachi hunt and I will have a hard time coming up with a better one. Oh by the way it was a POWERFLASH. : Picture attached. Note the immaculate condition of the cell. I am sure Mopar will post other pictures as he cleans it up.

By the way GB the price was 100 dollars. Plus mileage.

also a neat Nishijin Model "B" with a rather large articulated Dragon Fly as a center piece.. really neat looking with great action..

Nishijin Dragon Fly B.jpg...Nishijin Dragon Fly B cell.jpg

and the above Power Flash... (Finaly have one )

after building cabinets for him i guess its time to start on my own room

he also Delivered a Nishijin Model "B" Circuit Racer.. the plans for this machine is for a quick restoration and a good cleaning to be delivered to the North later this spring..

thanks to the good LT for picking up my Power Flash and the other gifts / payments for pachi work
