Default New to forum (and Pachinko)... what machine is this?

    Hello to all of you...

I have an opportunity to buy a non-working Pachinko. I haven't any idea what may be wrong with it . I guess I have two questions...

    1. Are they repairable?

    2. Can anyone tell me which game this is (so that I may do a little research on it)?

Thanks for looking and I look forward to learning more.

    Hello, welcome to PachiTalk!!

    1) It would depend on what is exactly wrong with the Pachinko, what information has the Seller provided?? As some problems may be simple to solve and just involve reseating connections or dongles for example

Other problems could be more difficult to resolve and may involve trying to track down parts that may or may not be available or it may just be cheaper to buy another pachinko

It would be best to ask the Seller what is happening when they try to play, does it power up, does it shoot balls, are any error codes displaying, That would help narrow down the solution

    2) I don't recognise that one and can't see it in our Research Centre, but it looks to be a Newgin brand I think?? However another of our Members will probably be able to ID that one for you very easily

Good Luck, I do hope it's just a simple reseat connections problem,

What's wrong and can it be fixed? Without knowing what's wrong, there's no knowing if it can be fixed. If major parts are missing, you'd be hard pressed to find replacements.

I am trying to get more information on just what it does, or does NOT do.

Good luck with your Machine.. some times the fix is quite easy... usualy if all the parts are there its not too bad.. mordern machiens are a bit harder.. if something is burnt out its near impossable to get parts..

    Good Luck

The only youtube videos I've found are for Devilman Club 2, a newer machine with an LCD screen. The one your looking at is the previous generation Hanemono type (wing type).

Compirate... you are absolutely correct. Thanks for noticing. I better slow down a bit and be sure of what I am considering. Maybe I should save some $$$ and buy a "working" one as my first.

That would be unique... I didn't do that with video arcades or pinballs...

I have found that when you are looking into buying a used item that is made of or contains spohisticated electronics, "working" is always the best route to go!

If you can get it cheap enough, sometimes it's nice to have one that you can tear in to just because you didn't pay that much for it. I don't know too many people who would be willing to take apart their Star Wars game, just 'cause ya wonder what's in there
