    I received my 1932 Mills "WOW" pinball this week. Unfortunately, the guy who packed it allowed packing tape to stick to the sides of the wood case/cabinet on all four sides. When I carefully removed the tape, it also removed large patches of the finish. I am working with him now on a resolution (so far he has been very good about the situation and even offered a full refund of ALL charges if I return it to him on his dime).

    Thanks again for keeping me in mind. I really like these early pinballs.

    I, too, had that problem with tape pulling old finish off. in my case it didn't matter b/c a whole sand down and wood restore was planned, but it is something to consider on antique wood items.

    maybe a deal can be worked out with the seller ,allowing you to refinish the cabinet and keep the game .it would save him the expense of having it shipped back to him.
