There's a really great post on wiring volume controls for V-Trigger frames by jmaclerran somewhere in this forum. Can't find it right now.

Check it out. It's a buy it now deal so you don't have to bother with bidding or wait for any auction to end.

Just installed the switch from Leighman8, and it is a very easy install. Those little orange connectors that come with the kit are a cinch (no pun intended). If you are ok with a permenant mod, this is the easiest kit out there. Just google the seller's name, and you will find his eBay store. He has single and double switches to control 1 or 2 speakers. The knobs are nice and smooth turning, and the connectors even have rust proofing gel in them. Seems like a well designed product all around. I bought a 3 pack of double switches for $20 shipped instead of 1 for $9. Worth every penny.

I actually just stumbled on this eBay seller's secret sauce. He is packaging those volume knob with the awesome solderless tabs that another user mentioned. I just found out these tabs are called "IDC Butt Connectors". Very handy any time you need to join two wires quickly and easily.

Any recommendations on recent stores for buying potentiometer parts? I'd like the knob style rather than screwdriver style.

I haven't modified anything yet, but am in need of putting some volume limits on a Linda Unstoppable (Sammy), and most recently, a Woody Woodpecker. I'm pretty new at this and haven't explored even finding the volume wires for Woody Woodpecker. Any

    Try these. https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...2B4HgZlQ%3D%3D

The small pots people have been using probably work okay, but they can't be rated very well and they likely introduce a lot of degradation. Cermet trim pots are ceramic based and better than the films or carbon tracks. They are more expensive but are better rated for the power going into these speakers. There are better options but then you start getting into expensive and/or custom made stuff. Off the shelf, these are what I used.

I should have added this in my last post. What they look like in a custom PCB. No knob or mount just plugged in. https://imgur.com/a/LDf5ZcH
