Funny, that was my son's idea to inset some pachinko balls into the wood

I did it around the edge of the bar/counter in my gameroom. Two rows, with a rope light inserted between them. It came out decent...but it was a real bugger lining the tacks up perfectly...so in the end, they weren't. I guess they were some kind of upholstery tacks... heavy duty and the head looks just like an inset pachinko ball. LOTS of WORK!

Maybe say a couple of dice? I think I have two dice from the DD that have the plastic stud broken off. Maybe you can cut them in half. That would give you four dice. You could even take the decals off them and glue them on the valance.

How about this? I was thinking of putting on the front of a ball hopper on a pachinko cabinet I am making.

OK, time for weekend update

Finished up the trim around the inside of the doors, and baseboard.

Got the valance hung over the curtain rod, (still haven't decided on what to do with it though)

Put the doors on the lower cabinet (getting them aligned was a pain in the rear)

And since the counter top isn't here yet, I went ahead and built the upper frame for the 4 machines, and painted it.

i think it is getting to the point that sid should wright somthing in the welcome email sent out to new members with the rules

some where along the lines of

please be sure to visit the "My never finished games room" thread and lend a hand in support also if you find Big Bare Steve straying into another thread pleas be sure to point him back to his never finished games room in wichever way you see fit depending on the severity of his wonderings ie if helping some one be pleasant if caught wasting precious time whooting use a size 10

Due to circumstances beyond our control, The counter top delivery will be delayed.

Home Depot was to have it in on 3-25-10, now they tell me it won't be in until 4-2-10

So, in the meantime, a special package arrived from Japan

I got a few items for the 'room'

3 chair covers, 5 small flags, and more
