Actually, It was a 4 day weekend for me

I did manage to get the lower ball collection system redone, and the second version of the top hopper started.

I will have the second version of the upper hopper completed tomorrow and ready for testing (with the third version in the design stage, just in case)

The first hopper didn't allow the balls to flow down the individual tubes, and caused a major jam, also the flexible conduit had a slight texture on the interior, and the longer runs didn't allow the balls to move smoothly.

The new hopper design will have individual tracks for the balls to move into rigid tubes, then down to the flexible conduit for the first two machines, are rigid piping for the remaining four pachi's.

Bench testing of the second prototype is ongoing, should be ready for final install soon.

I think it's going to do OK, but we'll see when it's connected to six machines

ok steve when you started this thread i took rather a large bet with 7 that i thought was a sure fire winner now im considerably worried im gonna loos you see she thought that you would get this games room project finished quite quick and i said to her heck sweatheart sid will finaly get a pinball and hell will freeze over befor BB finishes that games room well in light of recent events im now getting scared im gonna be a few £££ lighter

Time is not on my side right now, living away from home, and not being able to see my dog and wife (in that order) really puts a damper on my projects.

I really got frustrated with the project not coming out the way I wanted

So, I decided to step back and look at some other options for the 'room'.

Sorry, not much to post these days

Life has been a pain in the butt lately...

I have three injured family members to deal with.

Mom tripped over her dog and fractured her left wrist and broke her right finger...

My son dislocated his shoulder for the third time, now it requires surgury...

And, my wife got tramped by a horse and broke her elbow...

In addition, I have had to work 6 days a week to keep up on the bills
(I finally have a two day weekend Yaaaay!)

But, enough of my sob story... I have managed to do a little painting and woodwork, and hope to do some more this weekend.

Anywho... I did get some work done this weekend

Put up the crown moulding, painted the doors and hung the door knobs.

I still have to putty the nail holes, touch up the paint, and build the door for the top.

I need to win the lottery, so I can have enough time to finish this project
