Ok, got a little done today.

Started out with the control panel for the L-pads.
Then I mounted the rest of the machines and started the wiring.

It's starting to look complete, but I still have a long way to go.

I would have color cordinated them,

lighter one side darker other side, red with red, orange with orange, etc
    ______________________________________________________
or start with white on one side and solid color orange on the other end and try matching colors in the middle .

how are you doing the ball flow? each machine separate, then swing out to reload?

I am debating about my wall of pachinkos today, and i am not sure how to make it have easier ball refilling.

(I haven't really wanted to build a bunch of ball tracks/chutes/returns yet, but who knows)

    nice work, btw. very professional!

I'm colorblind, They all look green to me

The Lumina and Big Bang frames are mounted semi-permanently and will not be removed.

The other four can be removed and changed out as the new machines arrive

I'm using 'Deans plugs' for the power supply connections and volume controls, to make complete game changes easier.

    Thank you Chewy,

The ball return underneath, is a trough type reservoir that drops the spent balls into the ball lifter.

The top hopper is going to be small with individual tubes going to each machine (I'm trying to work it like the parlors, We'll see )

why deans plugs? (I had to google them, I was curious). they seem to be used in the RC world, which is usually DC? they didn't seem that easy to attach to the back end of, either, so I was wondering...

I used SAE connectors (boy, did it take me a long time to figure out what they were called) on my moderns at home.

tamiya plugs might work, too, or molex?

I guess the parlors used a standard AC plug like ours for 110, as a couple machines came with that attached. I immediately cut them off, so no one accidently plugged them into the wall

deans plugs have been tested in the RC world for years... there great dependable and long lasting... when your going to plug and unplug something nothing lasts like a deans plug... then have also been tested at the lowest rating drop for a plug. meaning they carry current almost as well as copper wire... the only conection better is, considered a solder connection...

    great choice Steve fing02:

My wife likes the valance plain, but then again... It's not HER gameroom

Yes, I only needed about 3/4 of the width.

The reason I chose that countertop was the nice bullnose edge

I use the Deans Mega plugs for the transformer connections (These are large plugs), and I use the smaller plugs for the volume controls (It allows me to wire the L-pads once and then be able to change machines without hassle)

Any larger plug will do (it's only 24 volts after all )

This has nothing to do with game rooms but I just had to say that Deans plugs are great...I sold Deans Ultra Plugs for years and used them on my batteries and they never let me down...So if you're building R/C batteries, I recommend Deans!!

how do you connect to the back end of the Deans?

the picture looked like you would solder to the lug. do you heat shrink it for strain relief?
