Christmas and Red Don

Santa stopped at my house and left me a 2007 Red Don Pachislo. Many thanks to my Pachi-Friendly wife (Santa) and Rita from Blue Hotaru.
This is a totally AMAZING machine. It has a giant video screen above the reels, super sound system, and a full metal case and of course it features my favorite character, DON.
This machine definitely needed volume controls (3) installed. I used the ones from FTK Svcs. They work perfectly and took only minutes to install.
Game play is interesting and varied with lots of video sequences. The many fireworks sequences are really well done. Some unknown Japanese machine designer hit a home run with this Pachislo.
Although Don speaks only Japanese, I'm not sure it really matters. Game play is pretty intuitive.
An interesting feature is the vibration device mounted inside the front door. Each time fireworks explode on screen the entire machine vibrates in sync with the explosions. Neat!

That looks a really great Pachislo, and I've always liked the Don and Fireworks themes

My first pachislo was an old Don Chan 2 and also have the fireworks pachinko and I never really notice or mind the Japanese speaking or writing parts

So I will look forward to seeing Videos of your new version!!

Here is the volume mod.
I used the FTKServices volume controls, 3 were needed. One each for the front speakers and the rear speaker. I soldered them first to 6" whips of cheapo speaker wire. Then cut one speaker wire and soldered in the whip. Mount the control on a piece of double sided tape.
