    Default What have we here?

Can anybody tell me what I'm looking at here?
Is that a single shot machine? What's that opening in the lower left?
It may be hopelessly crusty, but it speaks to me.
    Thanks!

It's all so sick and wrong!
Well, I wonder if a long drive and $25 is too much to pay to get into trouble with the wife.
Any idea what the weird opening is?

that's a nishijin A. the hole in the left lower is where you can see the jackpot seesaw pivot. I say "go for it" at only $25. it will be a good restoration project.

    It's a single shot and I'd say it's well worth $25!!

$25 for any machine is a killer deal these days. You cant find those around Denver. Right Jeff!

If you can get one for less than $40 your lucky around here.

In the U.K. that would be up for sale for about two seconds.
Then Hanabi's husband would be fetching it.

Well, leave it up to you guys to talk me out of it

It's hiding in the car, under a blanket. My wife is obviously suspicious. It will have to go into hiding for awhile.

It's not nearly as crusty as it looked in the pics. Should clean up nicely. The chrome is pretty nasty, so perhaps a rechroming is in order... someday.

Also, as a bonus (which will earn me a bonus beating), I got a really cool modern machine from the same guy. Also $25.

what would life be without our surreptitious pachi trips? we'll have to start a series called pachi capers... how we got "just one more" into the house or garage. or, what's your best excuse for another pachi...

congratulations. sounds like a double score to me!

maybe you can get your family interested in pachinko, then they'll be hunting with you for those deals...

I am lucky that my wife sees my pachinkos as a fun hobby for me, not quite an addiction. the good news is that she has kept me from overrunning our house with stuff. I even sold or traded 6 machines in the last month, to make room for more!

one other good excuse is "well, it was a really good deal, and I can always resell it for this price, or maybe a bit more if I just clean if up..."

p.s. do post pix when you can sneak out to the car and get a picture. we love pix!
