wooo whooo! I got it, courtesy of LT's pachi delivery service and it works!

I think maybe the tokens were coming out the front b/c of the coin slot being dirty, or maybe they had the coin empty button in ON position (shoots the coins out the front to emtpy the hopper)?

thanks to ttc for helping me get her up and running. I have to do a deep clean and get some more tokens, then this will be a present for mother in law's bday, beginning of february (assuming my own mother doesn't want it for her bday)

I want to clean it before I play tonight, maybe some more tonight,

but, no, I did not see any stuff on the right side. I figured it was red LEDs, but have not seen anything light up. does it activate all the time? if so, I will go looking for more loose plugs/wires.

LED screen's working now. just a loose ribbon cable. it is more fun this way! haven't hit the big bonus yet.

what's the story on this cartoon? is it a series in japan? obviously something about driving, but any specifics?
