    Default Token counter

Dose the Sinbad Pachislo come with Token in/out counters.I can hear a ticking noise from a board on the right hand side of the machine. There is cable running from it,with nothing on the end.Can I purchase counters anywere if they are missing?

That board does have a connection for counters, used in the parlors in Japan.
It's the 8 pin connector, 2 pins aren't used for counting.

    There are connections for:

(Starting at pin closest to the larger connector and working away)

    1. Token in
    2. Token out
    3. Regular Bonus
    4. Big Bonus
    5. Chance time
    6. Ground (common)
    7. N/A
    8. N/A

They aren't mounted inside, they're mounted outside, what we call Battle Counters. Keep statistics, pretty displays and extra flashy lights.

It's a contact output, no power. Not sure how much they can handle, you'll have to look at the little relays on the board.

Here's an LCD version I have:

    LCD Battle counters

    I've also used contact counters:

    Thanks again.great pictures.
I just searched net for Battle counters.Could not find anything for sale.Found an LCD counter for pachislo. But then I had a mad idea."Pedometer"Rip one apart, find the rocking switch that counts the steps.remove it and use the counter contacts off the pachislo machine.Just hope it won't need a pulse from both ends of the swing.and the step counter can handle the fast pulses.Lot of IF's but for £2 for a pedometer worth a look.I'll let you know if I have made a counter or taken up walking

Just done a search for inside pedometers and found this website.
Pedometers - Steps to choosing a Pedometer.
It's looking good for my Pedometer counter idea.Just hope two counters can count fast enough and don't mind being put on the same common for counting token in/out.If it works I'll make a nice little plastic box to mount them in with just the displays showing and a pin socket on the back to connect it to the machine,so they won't look like Pedometers.

Are we talking about a Sinbad machine from Net , or a Sindbad Adventure from Eleco? If we are talking about a Sindbad Adventure pachislo ... it has inbuilt coin-in/coin-out reporting. Push the left yellow button twice, will bring up a graph icon, the push the right button once to enter the coin counter. While in the coin counter the left button cycles through different counters ... per user...all time etc etc. To exit simply press the right button to return to the main menu and then the left a few times to get to the arrow and select it with the right.
    Have a nice day

The buttons on the front for displaying the coins in/out % and BB rounds etc. is ok but the data can be erased or is lost after 8days.I was looking for some thing that will keep coin info forever.

the pedometers worked but only counts games played.and are designed too slow to count coins out.

Just purchased some starpoint lcd counters off ebay. did not the know the make until they arrived. turns out they are 12v supply (i used 5v12 dc-dc to get from 5v to 12v )with motorola serial interface with over 20 counters and text display.although not ideal, I have a good knowledge of pic chips.these are perfect for interface to lcd counter and counter pulses from pachislo.not as cool looking as battle counters, but will still be able to display the info.just not sure how it's going to be powered,as there is no power on the counter cable.12v or 5v from the pachislo board would be the only way to be sure that the counting worked while the machine was switched on.
