I also suspect that it was a member here. Once upon a time, members posted links as soon as they came across them. I think some have learned to keep the ads under wraps until they've already made the score.

Indeed. It has definitely become more competitive especially with all the various ad/marketplace search tools available. Utilizing those are the "secrets" some members refer to but the cat's outta the bag. I think I got pretty lucky and scored my hard-to-find machines before all that became common knowledge.

Lucky you! Since we are all after the same things here... PachiTalk has kinda always had the policy that all is fair in bidding... so post your links at your own risk! Of course, since this is such a friendly place, I have seen people back out of auctions to give someone else a better chance.

Am glad I do not have to hunt as much as I once did but that was an excellent find.

Definitely a great bunch of folks here to be sure. Very helpful.
I have a few examples each of some very sought-after machines but I find I hunt more than I used to before I had those. Case-in-point: I am on vacation in Europe at the moment and what do I do when I get a spare minute? Log on to here!

Alright, back inside-it's in the single digits out there although the gluhwein (warm wine with a little sugar and juice) helps.
Oh thanks for looking out for me LT. Don't you worry, though 5000 miles away from the casa, I managed to score 3 old 60's single shot machines. Should be at the house waiting on me when I get back. I know better than to have you vultures "look" out for me!!!

I've never seen a Rotamint in person much less played one but they are an attractive machine. I like the clean lines and color schemes on the ones I have seen on eBay. I bid on one but lost sometime back.
