Default Looking at a couple of moderns

I'd like to buy a newer modern sometime and I've been looking at Tomb Raider or James Bond.007 I'm kind of drawn to the Tomb Raider theme because my step son and I used to play Tomb Raider on our Sony Playstation many years ago. I've always been a fan of James Bond movies ever since I was a kid so...

Can any of you all tell me about either of these machines? Do they play pretty much the same? Who are they made by and what approximate years are they? I'd also appreciate anything else you can tell me that you think I should know. How many spheres do you need to play these machines? I know that question can range all over the lot but with my vintage, I can get away with a few hundred (right now I'm using 500) but I know more would be better.

    Thank you!

cant tell u any thing about one or the other??? but i can say that most talk about using 2 or 3 thousand ball in a mordern machine..

the good LT has closer to 6 thousand balls for his Indiana Jones pachinko.. but that is with a cabinet..

    either machine dose sound neat

    sounds like a win win

a std ball hopper will hold a thousand balls... to be honest im thinking more more more... 2 or 3 thousand dosent really last that long... that was the reason for the huge hopper included w/cabinet

You mean on the cabinets you built, right? Those are very nice by the way, they look like they hold about 4 to 5 thousand, right?

I'm sure they are both great, but I've never played either..

Tomb Raider is from 2007 and made by Bisty...

And 007 is also from 2007 I think and is made by Sankyo (who also make the Bisty machines)

Both are in Lumina frames...and if I got any of that wrong I'm sure someone will correct me!!

I've not played Tomb Raider but it is based on the movie and not the video game.

I would recommend 007. It has 2 modes classic and modern bond so in a way it's 2 machines in one.

try youtube for videos. this will give you a good idea of the game play.

I enjoyed 007 when I tried it at ttc's. I don't even know the movies that well. it has a classic and modern mode.

why not buy both? it's Xmas afterall.
