Smart azz!
It's how the game plays, plus the fact that Taiyo Electric has the copy-write on the name and can call anything they want an arrepachi. On their very website those 'pachinko' games are listed as arepachis.
Also, if you go strictly by 'the rules', the coin type aren't really pachinko machines in the classic sense. A real pachinko machine pays out in balls, not tokens, like arcade games and pachislos.
