Default Call for help identifying vintage... again...

    Hi!

I found another seller who can't seem to give me any information on his machines. I'm having a very difficult time hooking up with him to view it, so I want to get any input I can before continuing to hunt him down.

The following is the only picture he can provide. Anybody recognize this and have any input. Being a noobster, I still worry about paying too much for stuff, but this one looks interesting with the peacocks. I'm familiar with the Nishijin machines, but not this one.

As always, thanks for all your help!

PS: If you're viewing this, Doug, this is not a local offering. You'll never find it, so don't even bother to try. Bwa-ha-ha
Oh yes, it will be mine.

    Thanks again, Moparformances:

I came up with Sankyo as a possibility too, based on the general style of the pieces shown. I looked and looked and looked and looked a bit more online, but no dice. It seems that there are a lot of designs out there that I'll only see once (?). It would be cool if there were a "complete" internet database collection of all pachinko images one could gather over time.

I really like the peacock idea. I think it's a bit overpriced, but if I like it, I'll work him over. The cost of bringing home another machine is the real price to be paid, if you know what I mean

It seems to me that a good rule of thumb for an average vintage is about $60 to $150 (with skies the limit, of course, on real rarities). Sound about right. I know it's very subjective.

I just built a stunning (IMHO) solid oak wall cabinet with compartments top and bottom for ball collection and return, and my vintage machine is just too boring to place in it. There, I have an excuse now.

Before Mopar says it, I'm going to say it, WE NEED PICS!
I'd like to see how you engineered the ball collection and ball return areas!

I'm excited to share it, but I still need to stain it and mount a machine in it.
I'm facing a conspiracy. I have a very specific stain in mind-- Danish Oil Red Oak (couldn't use one of the 30 cans of stain I already have, after all)-- and nobody locally carries Danish Oil in the darker colors. I know, picky picky. But really, what is this, Russia? (no offense to my Comrade Pachinkoheads out there).
