    Default Name that machine?

Does anyone recognize this machine and know anything about it?
I'm thinking about creating a distraction at work long enough to sneak out and take a look at it. Pulling the main power breaker should buy me enough time

It's hard to tell much from such a small photo. My guess is that it is a Kyrokru or Diachi.

Well, I have the "call in sick" part covered (actually am though).
Turns out it sold within minutes of being posted. I will be stopping by my neighbor's house later, as he took an interest in this hobby recently and has been very successful at buying local offerings out from under me the past 2 weeks.
I'll bet it's on his kitchen counter.
I have my eye on his monkey and alligator machine and, oh yes, it will be mine.
"Hey Doug, look over there-- a good deal on a pachinko machine!"
    "Huh, where?"
(Insert image here of me ripping monkey and alligator machine from wall and running down the street).

    Well, it is confirmed.
I stopped by my neighbor's on the way to work and confronted his wife. "Let me guess, Doug bought another pachinko in Lynwood yesterday, right?"
"Yes," she says, perplexed and borderline miffed, "and guess where he is right now? He's in Bellevue buying another one. That's 6 in 2 weeks. What the hell is the matter with him?"
My response: "Nothing seems particularly odd about that, but please tell him to save one for the rest of us, and if you get mad enough at him to start throwing his machines out on the lawn, please call me first and start with the Monkey/Alligator one so I can be there to catch it."
"Brian, you started this with him and it's pissing me off."
"Oh, does that mean you're ready to start throwing the machines?"

Normally I'd be ashamed, but this is war.
Actually, I'm not sure what it is about this hobby that makes people go all looney and want to buy a new machine every day. They're like little works of art, I figure.
It's nice to have a neighbor that's more insane about it than I am. For one, I can point it out to my wife to put some perspective on the situation ("Now, Doug... that man is clearly insane. I only want 20 machines. What's wrong with that man?")
I am encouraging him to join Pachitalk, but he may be too busy spending 24/7 trying to buy up every one in the greater Seattle area. Cripes, to be retired...

Have you checked out the panda bear that is on Craigs list in Wenachee. If it was not so far away I would of had it. Quite a different machine.
Over the hills and threw the woods, pachi hunting we go.

"The Good Lt. Teddy"... sounds ominous and spooky
    Do tell...

Well, now both the wives are in on the act with this little story. Oy.
I secretly congratulated Doug, but when his wife walked in, the "sickness" had to be discussed.
I told her that this is a remarkably common phenomenon-- a cross between midlife crisis (late-life crisis in his case ), gambling addiction, hoarding, and shopping addiction.
I told them that there's a support group online called "Pachitalk" that is like a 12 step program and will help him learn to control his addiction ("It's doing wonders for me!").

    Yeah, that'll help.

    Good Lord I feel naughty
