    Default Pachinko Video Games

    Hi Guys,
I am the new member here in this site. Good to see your discussions on pachinko stuff here.
I don't know if it is good to ask the stupid question (probably) right here. My question is I was looking for video game (PS or PS2) about pachinko games in the internet. Actually I had no problem to find out the games I need. But all sites I found were shown in Japanese and they normally do not ship their goods overseas. Based on your great experience on pachinko resources, do you have any ideas about any good sites selling their products outside Japan?
I currently have real pachinko machine, but I'd like to play video games as well because they do not make noise and I don't need to re-fill balls manually.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

It's also my understanding that Japanese PS and PS2 cartridges are not compatible with stateside Playstations. You may want to check out this before you buy.

I could be 100% wrong on this but I thought I read it somewhere.

    prolithman :

Not a problem. Get your PS2 or PS modded and then go here to get what you want :

I have dealt with them and they deliver.

BTW : I am considering using them for the Japan Yahoo Auctions :

I have used the modchip on both the old PSX (PS1) machines in the past, then on the PS2 machines recently and have been very, satisfied with the results.

My personal problem is that I don't find the video version of either pachislo or pachinko machines to be nearly as much fun as the real deal. Maybe it is the mechanical action or something, I'm not sure.

How do the rest of you feel about this?

    Thanks for the input. ~spooner

Spooner I agree ! I would rather have the original games that I play in the simulations instead ! I would love to have the real pinballs video pinmame emulates and all the video games that Mame emulates etc..BUT my pocketbook and limited living area unfortunately doesn't agree with my wants. So I actually feel blessed to be able to just play these simulations. I would rather have these than go without them.

you said it lew ... but I actually find that with the right controller, the MAME games are just as good on my computer. Of course, I don't have a spinner controller for Tempest, but that is another story. Thanks for the input. ~spooner

I have several of the PS / PS2 Pachinko games..

But I didn't mod my PS2 to play them..

    I bought a Japanese playstation2 from Ebay..

I didn't really want to deal with the mod chip for the PS2 so I took the "easy" way out..

I also can play those games on my Laptop running a PS emulator ( I forget the name of it at the moment )

But you can get alot of Pachinko games on EBAY, they show up there from time to time..

FOUND: Dirty Pair Pachinko.. Thanks Compirate and Arby!

How do you run a 220V PS2 on US current?

How many Pachi PS2 games do you have?

About what do they cost (average)?

220v is Europe. Japan is 100v.

Well the slots we get do, but they have a voltage regulator in them. I have no idea about this PS2. We'll have to let Mr. Fixx answer this one.
