Default Is this an Allwin or a Clone?

Can anyone tell me if this is an Allwin? It looks similar to the Allwin's I have seen, but almost looks to be a replica.

It looks like it started out as an Allwin and then it got "tie dyed". Probably some attempt to restore it somehow. Probably back in 1969 after Woodstock.

    Too bad!

Looks like no Allwin iv'e ever seen.
The fact that it's got power to it alone should have you wondering
    IMHO give it a miss

    It just doesn't look right

like one that someone has 'cobbled together' from various other machines maybe??

Thanks for your opinions. The more I looked at it, the more it appeared like a cheap knock-off.

I will pass on this one.

No bids by the end of the auction. If anyone is interested, you might be able to make an offer by contacting the seller direct and make an offer.

    Good luck!

Its all yours Jeff. You're the expert! You can make it work! Just create a new playfield for it.

Thanks slotsteve and Derek1960. Glad (more like surprised) to learn it is a real Allwin, however this particular one doesn't really appeal to me. It just looks kind of plain. I think I will wait until I find one that pays out in chocolates or candy. My wife will have no issues with me buying another machine if it gives her something sweet when she wins.

I believe there were a few manufacturers of 'allwin' style machines, perhaps this is just by one of the cheaper or less well known ones??

It just doesn't look the same quality as any of the ones I've played, and I've played quite a few at the Old Penny Museum in the last year or so

Unfortunately that 'hands on' museum is closed for the winter season, so I can't go and look again

I think perhaps this one could have had a new backing sheet at some point, maybe a long long time ago?? and it is missing it's name or sign in the top window, which just makes me think the case could be from a different model??

But I am certainly no expert on them, So I could be totally wrong,

I agree that the ones that payout tubes of sweets or choc bars seem to be more desirable and that is the type i am hoping to have, some day

Just a guess on this one but i assume when you win the pannel in the top will flash red.
Hence the red glass and the bulb, that look like they are wired to the win rack
