    Yes, of course a lot:
From US$ 2048,97 (Fedex) to US$ 457,78 (Surface Parcel incl. all fees) for the two machines together!

Interesting. I was told by Kiai that machines could not be shipped by surface. Not due to weight but due to the size.

Maybe that's to the US but is ok to Europe?

    Congrats on your new deal!

I am not aware of any difference in size limits betwen air and surface parcel - neither in Europe nor in the US. I think many members here shipped pachinkos with slow boat to the US.

    To close the file:

The two pachinkos (Super Sea Story in Mediterranean & Evangelion 4) arrived yesterday. To my surprise they survived the long journey on the boat really good. Japamart divided them into three packages by separating the wooden frames and transformers from the machines. Quite unusual (Kiai normally separates only the cell from the frame) but all went really well. They even provided an extra package of 10 cable connectors for free

After all my nightmare has an end.

    Thank you all

Spend the last two days with building cabinets and reverting the Super Sea Story in Mediterranean from cyclic to parlor mode. That was a real challenge because there was cut a whole amount of plastic out of the machine to make it "super cycle". After that was fixed I mounted one of my spare battle counters on top and now it's playtime

The Evangelion 4 will get a brandnew Asahi DAendar battle counter when I have build the adapter cables ...

Love the EVA 4 frame - nice to see some really game-specific detail on newer frames and not just a red/blue/green/orange color variation.

Happy to see the situation all worked out in the end for you!
