Welcome to our little dark corner of the world!

With these Vintage machines there is really not a whole lot to know about them. You can determine the manufactorer because it's usually in big letters on the front (Togin). Most of the time you can also get an approximate date it was made based on the expiration sticker. On the machine you have photos of there are no expiration stickers shown which is a bit rare. There are two possiblities, either it had one and someone removed it or it was a prototype and never placed in a parlour. I suspect the first. Since it doesn't have a expiration sticker it's going to be really difficult to set a date for it. Hopefully someone here will have a similiar machine and can give you the date off of their machine.

I think it's the general consensus that each machine has a unique design that is indicative of something, but haven't found anyone that could translate/decipher/explain the machine designs. So for now, we're all just guessing about that aspect.

If you post photos of the back, we can tell more about the machine and get a better shot at 'dating' it.

Good luck and again, welcome to the addiction.

nice looking machine. looks a lot like some of the nishijin B's

post a picture of the back, too, as that helps identify the machine by the mechanism.

there were lots of manufacturers that seemed to share parts. yours is probably late 70's to early 80's?

we all just name them by their features. don't think any one has found an actual database of what the manufacturers named them at the time of production.

welcome to pachitalk! there are sure to be more pachinkos coming your way

    Welcome!

I have those same plastic accents and lights on two Nishijin B machines from the mid 70's. There has been some discussion about manufacturers buying parts from the same suppliers, so if I had to guess, I'd say your machine was made somewhere around 1973 to 1977.

Is TOGIN a brand name? It looks too much like a Nishijin with a different name. I'm not familiar with that brand.

    Great looking machine for sure!!
